Meet Cindy
In November 2016, Cindy Zalar made a life-changing decision to transition from a 23-year nursing career to real estate. With an associate degree in Interior Design and a lifelong passion for homes and creative spaces, she found the perfect way to combine her care for people with her love of design. Guided by faith and the encouragement of her family, Cindy has built a successful real estate career and has been the #2 agent in her office for the past six years, consistently closing between $4 million and $7 million in sales each year.
A proud Navy wife for 35 years, Cindy has experienced firsthand the unique challenges of military life. Her husband served 35 years on active duty before retiring in 2023. Together, they raised four children—two who currently serve on active duty in the Navy, one who works as a GS employee with the Army, and one pursuing medical school through the Navy. Having PCS’ed 14 times throughout her family’s military journey, Cindy understands the stress of frequent relocations, deployments, and supporting children through each move.
Cindy works with buyers and sellers from all backgrounds, with approximately 90% of her clients being active-duty military members or veterans. As a certified Military and Florida Military Specialist, she is a strong advocate for every client, guiding them through each step of the buying and selling process. Her deep knowledge of VA financing and military relocation programs allows her to help clients navigate their real estate journey with confidence. Often serving as the eyes and ears for her clients, Cindy frequently videos and tours homes for military buyers and sellers who cannot be there in person.
After 17 wonderful years in Gulf Breeze, Florida, Cindy takes pride in helping clients find their own piece of paradise along the beautiful Florida Panhandle. Known for her honesty, dedication, and professionalism, she treats every client like family and strives to make every transaction seamless and stress-free as a valued member of The Realty Vault.
